چکیده
On June 29, 2011, Vicente García-Díaz defended his PhD thesis at Oviedo University, titled: “MDCI: Model-Driven Continuous Integration”. The research was funded by the Government of the Principality of Asturias (Spain). Vicente García-Díaz defended his dissertation in a publicly open presentation held in the School of Computer Engineering at Oviedo University, and was able to comment on every question raised by his thesis committee and the audience. The thesis was supervised by his advisors, Juan Manuel Cueva Lovelle and B. Cristina Pelayo García-Bustelo, and the rest of his thesis committee, Luis Joyanes Aguilar, Oscar Sanjuán Martínez, Manuel Pérez Cota, Francisco Javier Segovia Pérez and Victor Hugo Medina García. The thesis has been read and approved by his thesis committee, receiving the highest rating. All of them were present at the presentation.

Comparison of various knowledge-driven and logistic-based mineral prospectivity methods to generate Cu and Au exploration targets Case study: Feyz-Abad area (North of Lut block, NE Iran)
Motivated by the recent successful results of using GIS modeling in a variety of problems related to the geosciences, some knowledge-based methods were applied to a regional scale mapping of the mineral potential, special for Cu-Au mineralization in the Feyz-Abad area located in the NE of Iran. Mineral Prospectivity Mapping (MPM) is a multi-step process that ranks a promising target area for mo...
متن کاملContinuous QoS Provisioning of Large-scale Component-based Systems using Model-driven Engineering
Continuous integration and quality-of-service (QoS) provisioning is becoming increasingly important in the software development lifecycle of largescale distributed systems. This poster describes an approach that uses modeldriven engineering and generative programming techniques to provide continuous QoS provisioning of large-scale distributed systems throughout the entire development lifecycle,...
متن کاملModel integration in domains requiring user-model interaction and continuous adaptation of meta-model
Possible architectures for meta-models for domain specific model driven development are compared in the context of a domain – exploration engines for patterns in the dynamics of financial markets – that require interaction between domain expert and model, continuous development of the meta-model and yield the necessity to provide the domain expert with means to express rather abstract mathemati...
متن کاملCombining the Continuous Integration Practice and the Model-Driven Engineering Approach
The software development approach called model-driven engineering has become increasingly widespread. The continuous integration practice has also been gaining the importance. Some works have shown that both can improve the software development process. The problem is that the model-driven engineering is still a very active research topic lacking its maturity, what translates into difficulties ...
متن کاملIrreversibility Analysis of MHD Buoyancy-Driven Variable Viscosity Liquid Film along an Inclined Heated Plate Convective Cooling
Analysis of intrinsic irreversibility and heat transfer in a buoyancy-driven changeable viscosity liquid along an incline heated wall with convective cooling taking into consideration the heated isothermal and isoflux wall is investigated. By Newton’s law of cooling, we assumed the free surface exchange heat with environment and fluid viscosity is exponentially dependent on temperature. Appropr...
